All Over Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is slowly doing the same thing Beijing did when I was there — putting all the telecom/internet cables underground. It's an ongoing process, and they're proceeding at a measured pace, but it will be nice when it's finished. As much as the tangle of cables has become a staple of Thailand, I'm glad to see they recognize it's also an eyesore and a potential fire hazard.
