Process To Enter Thailand

Dec. 1

  • Applied for and received visa at Thai Consulate in Belgrade, Serbia (took 2 hours) Cost: 40 euros

  • Uploaded basic info, passport, & visa to COE platform for pre-approval

Dec. 2

  • Received COE Pre-Approval. Booked flight & ASQ ⬇⬇⬇

    • I was in Belgrade, but the Thai Embassy in Athens had jurisdiction for COE for people applying from Serbia.

Dec. 3

  • Received ASQ Confirmation. Uploaded flight tickets & flight details (both arrival and departure flight 2 months later), ASQ letter, & insurance letter to COE platform

Dec. 4

  • Printed out necessary documents to board the plane: ASQ letter, insurance letter, passport copy, T-8 Form, and Thai Visa.

  • Received COE from Thai Embassy in Athens

  • Still waiting on COVID Test & Fit to Fly

Dec. 8

  • Did my COVID-19 PCR test at 9:30, received results at 14:30. Sent a copy of test to Thai ASQ hotel, and printed a copy for airport.

Dec. 9

  • Met with a doctor to get my Fit to Fly certificate (Template below)

Dec. 10

  • Flew from Belgrade, Serbia to Istanbul, Turkey

Dec. 11

  • Flew from Istanbul, Turkey to Bangkok, Thailand

  • Went through intense immigration process at BKK

  • Picked up from airport by pre-arranged ASQ van and taken to my ASQ hotel (ChorCher).

  • This is “Day 0” and since I arrived at 3pm, I will get dinner, and will be able to choose my meals starting on Day 2, since I need to do it a day in advance from 6am-12pm. So Day 1 meals have already been pre-selected for me.
